About Us: Action Roofing Ltd
For nearly five decades, Action Roofing Ltd. has been trusted roofing experts in roofing, providing top-quality craftsmanship and reliable service to homeowners and businesses alike.
Our journey began in 1976, when John and Rosalie Turcotte founded the company under the name Superior Roofing. At the time, nearly 90% of our work was focused on Cedar Shake Roofing, a premium roofing material that was widely used for its durability and aesthetic appeal.
As the industry evolved and high-quality cedar became increasingly costly and difficult to source, we adapted. In 1982, we rebranded and incorporated as Action Roofing Ltd., and by the mid-1990s, we transitioned our focus from Cedar Shake Roofing to laminated fiberglass shingles, ensuring our customers received the best available materials in the industry.
A Family-Owned Legacy in BC
Action Roofing Ltd. is a family-owned and locally operated business proudly serving British Columbia. Growing up in the family business, David Turcotte was immersed in the roofing industry from an early age, learning the trade by cleaning up job sites and mastering installation techniques.
Over the years, he has personally installed thousands of squares of shingles, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Australia, providing him with the skills to lead and grow the company while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
